If you’re like most people, you probably use Photoshop to add a background to text. But there are a few different ways to do this, and the best way for you to find out is to experiment. Here are three different ways to add a background to text:

  1. Use the Background command in the Tools palette. This command lets you select a color from the color palette and apply it as a background layer on your document.
  2. Use the Layer command in the Tools palette. This command lets you create a new layer and name it something other than “Background.” Then, use the Layer command again to add a background image onto this layer.
  3. Use the Image command in the Tools palette. Thiscommand lets you select an image from your photo library and apply it as a background layer on your document.
