Gradients are a great way to add a touch of variation to your illustrations. In Illustrator, you can use the Gradient Slider to create different gradients. To start, open the Gradient Slider in the Tools palette and select one of the following gradients: linear, radial, or gradient fill. Then, drag it over the area you want to change the gradient for. The Gradient Slider will default to linear but you can change this by clicking on one of the other options in the drop-down list. To create a gradient with a specific color, select one of the colors from the Colors palette and then drag it over the area you want to change the gradient for.
