Adding an artboard in Illustrator is a simple process that can help you create more efficient and effective illustrations. An artboard is a group of images that can be used to create different types of illustrations. To add an artboard in Illustrator, open the file you want to work with and click on the Add Artboard button. The Add Artboard dialog will appear, as shown in Figure 1. Figure 1: The Add Artboard dialog in Illustrator The first thing you’ll need to do is select the images you want to use for your illustration. To do this, click on one of the images and select the Use Selected Images checkbox. Then, click on OK to add the selected images to your artboard. Next, you’ll need to decide how many images will be included in your artboard. To do this, click on the Size dropdown and select either thumbnail or full-sized (see Figure 2).
