Android devices come with a variety of brightness levels that can be adjusted to suit your needs. Here are four ways to adjust brightness on Android:
- Open the Settings app and tap on Display.
- Under Brightness, you will see three options: Auto, Low, and High. Tap on Auto to let Android decide the best brightness for you based on the time of day and your current environment. If you want more control over your brightness level, tap on Low or High to set a specific level.
- To quickly adjust the brightness level while using an app, double-tap on the Home button and then swipe up or down to change the brightness level. This works with most apps except for those that require a long press on the Home button to open their settings menus (like Camera).
- If you want to disable automatic brightness altogether, go back to Display in Settings and uncheck the box next to Brightness: this will make your device use only manual adjustments when it comes time to turn off light or when it gets too dark outside. ..
