When you take a picture of someone, you want to capture their personality and the way they look. You might also want to capture some of the details that make them unique. In Photoshop, you can blend photos together to create a composite image that is more realistic and lifelike. To start, open Photoshop and select the photo you want to blend into the photo editor. Then, drag the photo up or down on the canvas so it is in line with your desired result. Once you have dragged the photo, release it so it falls back into place. Now, select one of your photos as your source photo. Choose Edit > Transform > Add Layer Mask to make sure that your source photo is masked out so that only the blended photo is visible on the canvas. Now, use Edit > Transform > Add Layer Mask again to add a new layer mask over your source photo. This time, choose Image > Mode > Monochrome and set its properties to Overlay. This will keep all of the colors in your blended image while allowing for some color variation between your source and blended photos. Once you have added all of your layers (including your source photo), press OK to close Photoshop and return to reality!
