If you’re like most people, you probably type a lot in your email, text messages, and other documents. And if you’re like most people, you probably use the default spacing between letters in Microsoft Word, Adobe Photoshop Elements, and other word processors. But what if you want to change the spacing between letters? Or what if you want to create a document that looks different from the default spacing? Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open the document that you want to change the spacing between letters in.
  2. In the toolbar at the top of the document window, click on the “Type” button. This will open up a menu with several options. Among these are “Spacing.” Click on this button to open up the Spacing dialog box.
  3. In this dialog box, you can change the space between each letter by clicking on one of the drop-down menus next to “Letter Spacing.” You can also enter a custom value in pixels by clicking on “Custom.” (Note: If your document is in inches instead of pixels, be sure to enter “in” instead of “pixels.”) ..
