If you’re like most people, you probably have a Pioneer car radio with the time set to the local time. But what if you want to change the time on your Pioneer car radio? Here’s how:

  1. Open the door of your car and remove the battery cover.
  2. Look at the clock on your radio and find out what time it is in your area. For example, in my area, it would be 2:00 a.m. If you want to change the time on your Pioneer car radio, you’ll need to do this by using one of these methods:
  • Use a Phillips screwdriver or other small tool to pry off the back of the radio and remove its screws (4 screws per side). Be careful not to damage any of the circuitry inside).
  1. Replace or upgrade your Pioneer car radio with a model that has an electronic clock (like an Alpine CD player). This will include a clock chip that will read both localtime and GMT/UTC (the European Time Zone). To change the time on an Alpine CD player, follow these steps:
  2. Put back together everything that was removed from your Pioneer car radio and replace all screws with new ones (4 per side).
