When you create an image in Illustrator, you can choose to have it be a small image or a large image. When you create a small image, Illustrator will save it as a thumbnail. When you create a large image, Illustrator will save it as an SVG file. To check the size of an image in Illustrator, open the File menu and select “Open With.” Then select “Illustrator.” In the resulting window, click on the “Size” tab and enter the dimensions of your image into the fields below. The dimensions should be in pixels. If they are not, change them to match those of your image’s resolution. If your images have different resolutions (e.g., if one is 1920x1080 and another is 1280x720), then you’ll need to adjust their sizes before saving them together. To do this, open each file in Photoshop and drag its contents into Illustrator so that they occupy the same space (or resize them if they don’t).
