There are a few things you can do to clean a bilge pump. First, remove all of the filters and cleaning supplies from the pump. Second, use a plunger to suction onto the bottom of the pump and pull until all of the water has been drained out. Finally, use a vacuum cleaner to clean any debris or oil that may have been left on the pump.
