If your dash waffle maker is looking a little grubby, don’t worry - there’s a quick and easy way to clean it! Here’s how:

  1. Remove the batter bowl and brush.
  2. Pour a small amount of hot water into the batter bowl and swirl to coat the bottom.
  3. Place the waffle maker on its side on a hard surface, with the open end facing down. Push down on the top of the machine until it clicks into place, then use a rubber spatula to scrape any batter or debris off the top and sides of the machine.
  4. Pour a small amount of hot water into the batter bowl and swirl to coat the bottom. Place the waffle maker back on its stand, making sure that it is properly aligned so that water can flow into and out of the machine easily (the opening should be facing up). Close the lid by pressing down on it until it clicks into place, then use your fingers to spread some batter over each grid pattern (you may need to do this in two batches). Cook for 3-5 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through (the centers should spring back when pressed). Carefully remove from heat by lifting up on one end of the machine - be careful not to burn your hands! Let cool before cleaning as instructed below. ..
