If you’re like most people, you probably don’t think much about how to clean a harmonica. After all, it’s just a piece of plastic and metal with holes in it. But if your harmonica is dirty, it can actually cause problems. Here are four easy steps to cleaning your harmonica:

  1. Wet the harmonica in water and swish around to get rid of any dirt or dust.
  2. Pour some mild soap into your hand and rub the soap around the inside of the harmonica’s reeds. Be sure to get into all the nooks and crannies.
  3. Rinse off the soap with water and let the harmonica dry completely before storing it away.
  4. If you notice any rust on the metal parts of your harmonica, use a fine-grit sandpaper to remove it. Be careful not to scratch the metal! ..
