If you’re like most people, you probably don’t think much about how to clean a harmonica. After all, it’s just a piece of plastic and metal with holes in it. But if your harmonica is dirty, it can actually cause problems. Here are four easy steps to cleaning your harmonica:
- Wet the harmonica in water and swish around to get rid of any dirt or dust.
- Pour some mild soap into your hand and rub the soap around the inside of the harmonica’s reeds. Be sure to get into all the nooks and crannies.
- Rinse off the soap with water and let the harmonica dry completely before storing it away.
- If you notice any rust on the metal parts of your harmonica, use a fine-grit sandpaper to remove it. Be careful not to scratch the metal! ..
