1. Remove the protective cover from the microneedle.
  2. Disconnect the negative cable from the microneedle.
  3. Place the microneedle on a clean surface and wet it with water or alcohol.
  4. Apply pressure to the microneedle until it becomes wet and starts to form a small hole in the center of the device.
  5. Hold onto one end of the microneedle and use your other hand to push down on the other end of the microneedle until it forms a second small hole in opposite corner of device (you should now have twomicroneeds).
  6. Carefully remove each microneedle by gently pushing it out from its surrounding material with your fingers, using as much force as necessary to do so without breaking it or damaging its structure.
