If you’re camping or traveling, it’s important to keep your tent clean. Not only will this help keep your tent smelling fresh, but it can also help prevent mold from growing. To clean a moldy tent, follow these steps:

  1. Remove all of the dirt and debris from the inside of the tent. This can be done by using a vacuum cleaner or a mop.
  2. Pour a pot of water onto the stove and set it to medium heat. Add enough soap to cover the inside of the tent poles and everything else in the pot. Let the water work its way through the fabric for about 10 minutes.
  3. Carefully remove any moldy material from inside of the tent using a brush or a vacuum cleaner. Be sure not to damage any fabric!
