Aquarium gravel can be a difficult to clean surface. There are many ways to clean it, but one of the most popular is to use a vacuum cleaner. To start, make sure that the aquarium gravel is completely dry. Next, place the vacuum cleaner in the corner of the aquarium where you plan to place the gravel. Make sure that you have enough suction power to reach all of the gravel. When you have enough suction power, turn on the vacuum cleaner and wait until it starts sucking up water from the aquarium gravel. Keep your hand close to the vacuum cleaner so that you can keep track of how much water is being sucked up. Once all of the water has been sucked up, release your grip on the vacuum cleaner and let it go back to its original position in front of the aquarium. Be sure not to touch any of the water that was sucked up by the vacuum cleaner because this will cause it to start sucking again and create more dirt and debris on top of your aquarium gravel.
