If you’re like most people, you probably think of cleaning car seats as a chore that needs to be done every time the car is serviced. But there are a few easy ways to clean car seats with a shop vac without having to go to the trouble of taking apart the seat and cleaning everything.

  1. Start by unplugging the shop vac from the power outlet and disconnecting all of the cords.
  2. Place your car seat in front of the vacuum cleaner so that it’s completely covered by dirt and debris.
  3. Turn on the shop vac and wait until it starts up.
  4. As soon as the vacuum cleaner starts up, use its suction power to push all of the dirt and debris out of your car seat. Be sure to keep an eye on the vacuum cleaner so that it doesn’t start up again on accident!
