If you have a Frigidaire refrigerator, it’s important to clean the water line regularly. This will help keep your fridge running smoothly and prevent water damage. To clean the water line, first remove the ice maker. Next, unscrew the top of the refrigerator and remove the water line connector. Be sure to discard any old or dirty water lines. Next, use a plunger to push all of the liquid out of the connector and into a cup or bowl. Pour enough cold water into the cup or bowl to cover the liquid in the connector and then screw on top of refrigerator again. Turn on compressor and wait for it to start up. Once compressor has started up, turn off fridge and let it cool for about 10 minutes so that all of its components can come back online. Once all components are back online, screw on top of connector again and reattach ice maker if needed.
