If you’ve ever had to clean paint overspray off of your car, you know it’s not an easy task. The paint is thick and sticky, and the overspray is often spread all over the surface of the car. Here are four tips for cleaning paint overspray off of a car:

  1. Use a bucket and water. Pour a bucket of water onto the overspray, and use a scrub brush to start scrubbing. Work your way around the entire area that’s covered in paint.
  2. Use a vacuum cleaner with a hose attachment. If you have access to a vacuum cleaner with a hose attachment, try using it to suck up as much of the overspray as possible. Be sure to use caution when using this method; if you’re not careful, you could end up sucking up water and debris along with the overspray.
  3. Use acetone or lacquer thinner. If acetone or lacquer thinner is available, try using it to clean the paint off of the car surface. Be sure to use caution when using these products; they can be very dangerous if ingested or inhaled ..
