If you’re a public app user and want to delete your account, here’s how:

  1. Open the App Store and sign in to your Apple ID.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the App Store page and find the “Delete Account” link.
  3. Click on it and enter your Apple ID password.
  4. The App Store will ask if you want to delete your account permanently or for a specific period of time (usually 30 days). Choose “Permanent” and hit “delete.”
