If you’re an Amazon Echo user, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of the voice assistant’s ability to delete profiles. It’s one of the features that makes Alexa so powerful and convenient, and it can be a handy way to keep your Echo organized and tidy. To delete an Alexa profile, first open the Echo app on your phone or computer. Then click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen and select “Delete Profile.” Type in your name and password (if any) and hit “Delete.” You’ll be asked to confirm before deletion takes place. If you have more than one Alexa account, you’ll need to delete them all before deleting the profile for this one.
