If you’re a Chipotle customer, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of the company’s deletion policy. The policy is simple: If you don’t want your account deleted, you have to provide a valid reason for why it’s been cancelled. And if that reason is something as mundane as not ordering food for two days in a row, well, that’s just too bad. But what if your account was cancelled because you didn’t order anything in over two weeks? That’s pretty serious. In that case, Chipotle will need to contact your bank and ask them to suspend your account until you can order food again. And even then, it might take some time before your account is reinstated.
