If you are using the Firestick as your primary device for watching videos and browsing the internet, then deleting files is a must-do if you want to keep your device clean. Here are some tips on how to delete files on the Firestick:
- Open Es Explorer and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen. This will open a menu with three options: “Open in new window”, “Open in current window”, and “Delete file”. Choose “Delete file” and Es Explorer will delete all of the files in your current folder.
- If you have multiple folders on your Firestick, make sure to select one of them as your target folder when deleting files. If you don’t do this, Es Explorer will try to delete all of the files in that folder, which can be quite time-consuming and frustrating.
- When finished deleting files, press Ctrl+X to exitEs Explorer and save your changes. You can now reload Es Explorer by clicking on its icon in the top left corner of the screen.
