There are a few things you can do to delete deeply held beliefs and opinions that have been with you for a long time.
- Write out your reasons for holding these beliefs and why they are important to you. This will help you to understand why they are so deeply ingrained in your mind.
- Take a step back and look at the entire situation from a different perspective. What is the benefit of this belief system for me? What is the downside? Is there another way that I could hold this belief system that would be more beneficial to me?
- Talk to other people about your beliefs and see if anyone has any similar convictions or experiences that they can share with you. This will help you to form a more accurate understanding of what is going on in your mind and how it might impact your life in some way.
