If you’re like most gamers, you probably have a lot of save data saved on your 3DS cartridge. But if you need to delete that data in order to make room for new saves, there’s a way to do it. To delete save data on a 3DS cartridge, first make sure the system is turned off. Then remove the cartridge from the system and hold down the power button until the system powers off. Once it’s powered off, press and hold down both buttons on the front of the system for about 10 seconds until you see a screen that says “Formatting System.” On this screen, press A to start formatting. After formatting is complete, insert the cartridge back into the system and power it on. You’ll now be prompted to create a new save file. Choose Create New Save File and enter a name for your new file. After creating your new save file, press A to finish creating it. Now that your save data has been deleted, you can start playing games again without any worries about losing progress or data. ..
