If you’re like most people, you use your computer for work, entertainment, and communication. You might use your computer to surf the Internet, watch a movie or TV show, or chat with friends. But what about the things that you don’t want to see when you’re using your computer? Windows 7 includes a feature called “Themes.” A theme is a collection of settings that control how Windows looks and behaves. You can change the look of your desktop, the icons on your desktop, and the colors of the menus and windows. To delete a theme in Windows 7:

  1. Open the Start menu and click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Appearance and Personalization. (If Appearance and Personalization isn’t open, click it.) 3. Under Themes, click Themes. (If Themes isn’t open, click it.) 4. In Themes window, select the theme that you want to delete from the list on the left side of the window. 5. On the right side of Themes window, under Installed Templates section, select Delete Theme from list button (). 6. Click Yes in Confirm Deletion dialog box (). 7.
