If you’re like most people, you probably use your Android phone for a variety of activities, including browsing the web, checking email, and taking pictures and videos. But there are some activities that you may not want your phone to be able to do. For example, you may not want your phone to be able to access your contacts or read your messages. To disable app permissions on Android, you first need to create a file called “permissions.xml” in the root of your Android installation. This file contains information about all of the apps that are installed on your device and their permissions. Next, open the “permissions.xml” file and add the following line at the bottom: This line tells the app that it should only be able to access certain actions (such as reading messages) if it has an “android.intent.action.MAIN” permission from its owner!
