If you’re one of the many PlayStation 4 owners who want to disable gameplay recording, there are a few ways to do so. The first way is to go to the Settings menu on your PS4 and select System. From here, you’ll need to scroll down until you see Gameplay Recording and select it. From here, you’ll be able to choose whether or not gameplay recording is enabled. If you’d like to disable it completely, simply uncheck the box next to it. If you’d like to enable gameplay recording but only for specific games or sessions, you can do so by selecting those games or sessions from the drop-down menu next to Enable Gameplay Recording.
