If you’re having trouble disconnecting your Playstation 4 controller, here’s how to do it:

  1. Hold down the power button on the Playstation 4 for about 10 seconds until the console powers off.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the console.
  3. Remove the screws that hold down the front panel of the console.
  4. Lift up the front panel and disconnect the controller cables from their ports on either side of the console.
