In this guide, we’ll show you how to disconnect your controller from your PS4 in case you need to take it apart or repair it. First, make sure that the power to your PS4 is off. Then, remove the screws that hold the top of the controller together. Next, gently pull off the top of the controller. Now you’ll need to remove the battery cover.
