There are a few ways to get free fonts to Illustrator. One way is to use the Fonts panel in the Preferences window. Another way is to use the Fonts command in the Tools palette. The third way is to use the Download button in the File menu. The Download button will take you to a web page that will list all of the fonts that have been downloaded from Adobe’s online font library. You can select any of these fonts and then click on the Download button. The download process will start automatically and will take about 10 minutes to complete. Once the download has finished, you’ll find a new folder called “Illustrator” inside of your downloads folder. Inside of this folder, you’ll find all of the fonts that were downloaded and installed into your Illustrator account.
