If you’re like most photographers, you probably have a lot of Lightroom presets saved on your computer. But what if you want to take those presets with you when you switch computers? There are a few ways to do this. The easiest way is to export your presets as a .lrtemplate file. This file can be imported into any other version of Lightroom, including the new Creative Cloud version. To export your presets as a .lrtemplate file, open Lightroom and go to File > Export Presets… In the Export Presets dialog box, select the folder where your presets are stored and click Export. In the File name field, type lrtemplate and click Save. You can also export your presets as a .lrcat file. This file can only be used in the new Creative Cloud version of Lightroom.
