If you’re a Sims fan on PlayStation 4, there’s a good chance you’ve used the game’s editing tools to create custom Sims. But if you’re new to the platform, or if you just want to make some changes to your existing Sim, there are a few things you need to know. First and foremost, the Sims 4 editor is available in both English and French. This makes it easy for anyone who wants to start editing their Sim right away. Secondly, there are three main tabs in the editor: Gameplay, Customization, and Pets. These three tabs will give you access to all of the features of your Sim’s game world - from changing their looks and behavior, to adding friends and family. If you want to make some serious changes to your Sim - like making them into a different species or changing their personality - then it’s best to start with Gameplay. Here, you’ll find all of the tools that allow you to create custom gameplay scenarios for your Sim. You can choose from a range of options such as creating challenges that require them To Do tasks or playing games that require them To Play games. You can also create custom interactions between your Sim and other players in these scenarios - like inviting them over for dinner or inviting them on a date. Next up is Customization. Here, you’ll find all of the tools that allow you to change everything about your Sim - from their clothes and accessories, to their home environment and social media preferences. You can also add new friends and family members into your Sim’s life using this tab - either through social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter, or by talking with them directly in-game. Finally, on this tab are all of the pets that your Sim may have purchased using points earned during gameplay or through rewards given out by other players (like animals that give away food).
