When you want to add a texture to an image, Photoshop is the best program for the job. You can use any of the built-in textures or create your own. Here are some tips on how to edit a texture in Photoshop:
- Choose the Texture Type To choose a texture type, first open the Texture Types palette and select one of the following: Vector, Image, or Graphic. Then click on it to open its properties.
- Choose Size and Formatting Next, you need to choose how big and wide your texture will be. To do this, open the Size & Formatting palette and select one of the following: Square, Rectangle, or Circle. Then click on it to open its properties.
- Choose Colors and Levels Next, you need to choose how many colors you want your texture to have and how high or low of a level you want them to be set at. To do this, open the Colors & Levels palette and select one of the following: Lowlight (L), Midlight (M), or Highlight (H). Then click on it to open its properties.
