There are a few things you can do to help your Photoshop images look more guideline-like. One way is to enable guidelines in the General tab of the Preferences dialog box. Another way is to set up a custom layer style in the Layers palette and then use that layer style to create guidelines. Finally, you can use a photo editor such as Adobe Photoshop Elements or Adobe Photoshop CC to create guidelines.
