When you want to flatten an image in Photoshop, you can use the command “flatten” or “flatten all”. If you use “flatten”, Photoshop will create a new image with the same dimensions as the original image, but flattened. If you use “flatten all”, Photoshop will copy all the images in the file into a new file, and then flatten them.
