If you’re ever in a bind and can’t seem to get your car to start, there’s one surefire way to solve the problem: flip it over. It’s not as difficult as it seems, and it can be done in a matter of seconds. Here’s how:

  1. Open the door of the car and remove the battery cover.
  2. Place your car on its back on the ground so that all four wheels are facing down.
  3. Push down on one of the front tires with your hand while you hold onto the other side of the battery cover with your fingers. The cover should now be in line with your car’s front wheel.
  4. Keep pushing down on the tire until it flips over onto its back, then release your grip and let go of the battery cover. The cover should now be lying flat on top of your car’s front wheel (if it wasn’t already).
