However, if you want to use it as your own personal photo editor, you will need to install the Lightroom standalone application. This application is available for free on most platforms. To install the Lightroom standalone application, you first need to find the file location for it on your computer. You can find this file location by looking in the Start menu and clicking on Programs and Features. Then, under the Lightroom heading, you will see a list of files that have been installed by Windows. If you have not installed Lightroom yet, please follow these steps:
