If you’re like most photographers, you’ve probably spent countless hours organizing and editing your photos in Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Lightroom. But what if you want to take your photo organization skills and work with photos on a different platform? There’s no need to switch to a new software program—you can easily import your Lightroom catalog into Adobe Photoshop! Here’s how:

  1. Open the Lightroom catalog that you want to import into Photoshop.
  2. In the Library module, select Import from Catalog… from the menu bar. (If you don’t see this menu item, make sure that the Show Import Options checkbox is selected in the Library module’s Settings panel.)
  3. On the Importing Photos From Catalog dialog box, click Browse and locate the folder where your photos are stored on your computer. (If you don’t have a folder named “Photos,” create one now.)
  4. Click Open. The imported photos will appear in the Photos panel of Photoshop, ready for editing! ..
