If you’re like most people, you probably use Adobe After Effects to create professional-grade videos, commercials, and other video content. But if you want to import text into After Effects, there are a few things you need to know. First, After Effects doesn’t support vector illustrations or text files that are larger than about 8KB in size. So if you want to import text from Illustrator into After Effects, you’ll need to either create a smaller file or use an external editor such as Adobe Photoshop or Inkscape. Second, when importing text into After Effects, be sure to select the “Text” tab and enter the correct dimensions for your text file. For example, if your text file is 8KB in size and you want it to be imported into After Effects as a 12KB vector file, select the “Text” tab and enter “12” in the “Width” field and “12” in the “Height” field. Third, Once You’ve Entered The Dimensions For Your Text File And Chosen The Format You Want It To Be In (Vector Or Text), Click On The Edit button And Start Editing Your Text File. After Effect Will Import The Text As You’d expect It To Be In Terms Of Formatting And Appearance.
