Lightroom 6 is a great photo editor, but it can be a little difficult to import presets into the program. Here are some tips to help you get started:

  1. Open Lightroom 6 and click the Preferences button in the top left corner of the window.
  2. In the Preset preferences, select the “Import XMP presets” check box and then click OK.
  3. When Lightroom 6 starts importing your presets, it will ask you for your camera’s name and model number. You can also enter these values in the “Import Preset Names” field in the same preferences window.
  4. Once Lightroom 6 has imported all of your presets, you’ll need to close it and reopen it to see them updated.
