There are a few things you need to do in order to install a forward facing car seat in a Ford F150. First, remove the headlight cover and unscrew the light bulb. Next, remove the car seat from the vehicle. Next, remove the harnesses from both seats and place them aside. Finally, unscrew the screws on either side of the car seat and lift it out of the vehicle. Once it is out of the way, place it on a flat surface and unfold the fabric straps. Now is a good time to measure where your child will be sitting in relation to both seats and make sure that there is enough space between them for both children to fit comfortably. Once you have determined that there is enough space, fasten one strap around each child’s waist and another strap around their chest (if using a harness). Now screw down both straps until they are tight against their bodies. Finally, screw on either side of the car seat back into place and reattach all of the harnesses.
