There are a few things you need in order to make a mod for Skyrim on PlayStation 4. The first is an account on PlayStation 4, as the game requires PlayStation Plus membership in order to install mods. Secondly, you’ll need a modding software such as Nifskope or GIMP. Finally, you’ll need some creative minds behind you and some tools to help with the modding process. The first step is to create a new file called “SkyrimData” in your “Data” folder on your PlayStation 4. This file contains all of the game’s data, including your character’s stats and items. Next, open up Nifskope or GIMP and create a new file called “SkyrimData_PS4” inside of that same folder. This file will contain all of the same data as “SkyrimData”, but with the addition of your PlayStation 4’s settings and preferences added in. Once you’ve created both files, it’s time to start modding! To begin, open up Nifskope or GIMP and click on the “File” button at the top left-hand corner of the screen. Then select “New File.” In this window, enter in a name for your new file and click on the OK button. Next, open up Skyrim Data_PS4 and click on the “Open” button at the top left-hand corner of the screen. Now that your new file has been opened, you can start editing it! First, make sure that everything is set up correctly by checking out how everything looks in Nifskope or GIMP before continuing! Once everything looks correct, start editing by clicking on one of the tabs at the bottom of the window and selecting one of your files from there. Once you’ve edited something within that file (or if there are multiple files within that folder), click onthe OK button at the bottom left-hand corner of
