Text spacing is a critical part of writing, and in Photoshop, it’s easy to make it happen. Here’s how:

  1. Choose the Text tool and click on the leftmost column of the text area. This will create a new layer above the existing text layer.
  2. Choose the Line tool and drag one of the line segments from the rightmost column to the leftmost column. This will create a new line in between the existing lines in the text area.
  3. Choose Edit > Preferences > Text Size and set it to something smaller than your original text size (in my case, I set it to 12 points). This will change how all of your text looks when you save your document.
