Android devices come with a built-in storage space of around 2GB. If you want to store more photos, music, or videos, you’ll need to use an external SD card. To mount an external SD card on your Android device:
- Open the “Settings” app on your Android device.
- Under “Storage,” tap “SD Card.”
- Tap the “Mount” button next to the SD card you want to use. (If the SD card isn’t mounted, it will be listed as unmounted.)
- Select a folder where you want to store your photos, music, or videos. (The default folder is called “DCIM.”)
- Tap OK to mount the SD card and return to the “Storage” screen on your Android device. ..
