  1. Turn off your PlayStation 4 and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Remove the hard drive and any other internal storage devices if they’re installed.
  3. Remove the console’s outer casing by gently pulling off the front panel, then remove the screws that hold it in place.
  4. Locate and remove the fan assembly (it should be located near the power supply). Be careful not to touch any of the internal components while doing this!
  5. Wipe down all surfaces with a dry cloth or a vacuum cleaner with a hose attachment, then wipe off any excess moisture with a dry cloth or paper towel.
