If you have a push button start car, there are a few things you can do to get it in neutral. The first is to remove the battery. If the battery is in an easily accessible location, remove it with a knife or screwdriver. If the battery is hidden under something else, such as a seat or console, try prying it out with your hands. Once the battery is out of the way, turn on the car and wait for it to start up. If all goes well, you should be able to get your car in neutral by pushing the button and waiting for it to turn green.
