Rasterizing is the process of transforming an image into a series of lines or dots that can be used to create graphics or illustrations. In Illustrator, there are a few different ways to rasterize images. The most common way to rasterize images is by using the Image Processor command. This command can be found in the Tools palette, under the heading “Image Processor”. To use the Image Processor command, you need to first create a new image and name it “rasterizedimage.png”. Then, under the “Processors” tab, you will find a list of processors. You can choose one of these processors by clicking on it and then clicking on the “apply” button. Once you have chosen a processor, under the “Outputs” tab you will find a list of output files. You can name these files whatever you want, but it is best practice to name them after your image filename. For example, if your image filename is “rasterizedimage1.png”, then your output file would be named “rasterizedimage2.png”
