If you’ve ever deleted a file from your Android device and realized too late that you wanted to keep it, there’s a chance you can recover it. Here’s how to do it. First, make sure you have the file you want to recover. If not, go ahead and delete it from your device. Next, connect your Android device to your computer using the USB cable. On the computer, open up Android File Transfer (or another file transfer program). Click on the device in the left column and select the files you want to recover in the right column. Click on “Copy.” Now go back to Android File Transfer on your phone and click on “Paste.” You’ll now see all of the files that were copied over from your computer.
