If you’re like most people, you probably use 3M tape to hold car paint in place. But there are a few things you can do to remove it without damaging the paint or leaving residue behind.

  1. Start by removing the tape from around the edges of the car. This will help make it easier to remove the tape from the entire surface.
  2. Use a hairdryer to heat up the adhesive and then peel off the old 3M tape. Be careful not to damage the paint or leave any residue behind.
  3. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all of the old 3M tape is gone.
