If you have a boot on your car that you don’t have the legal right to be there, it’s time to take action. Boot removal is not as difficult as you might think, and with a little bit of know-how, you can get the boot off your car without any trouble. The first step is to determine whether or not the boot is legal. If it’s not, then you’ll need to remove it using one of the following methods:

  1. Cut off the boot’s straps with a knife or scissors. Be careful not to cut yourself in the process.
  2. Use a pry bar or crowbar to break through the boot’s seams and remove it from the car. Be careful not to damage anything else in the process.
  3. Use a vacuum cleaner hose attachment to suck out all of the water inside of the boot. This will cause it to collapse and make removal much easier. Once you’ve determined which method works best for removing your boot, follow these steps:
  4. Locate where the straps are attached on either side of the boot and cut them free with a knife or scissors. Be sure not to cut yourself in this process.
  5. Pry open up one side of the boot using your pry bar or crowbar and pull it off of your car. Repeat on the other side if necessary.
  6. Remove all of the water inside of theboot using your vacuum cleaner hose attachment and let it collapse onto itself so that you can easily remove it from your car ..
