If you own a PlayStation 4, then you’re probably familiar with the game console’s built-in disc drive. This is a great way to store your games and other media, but it can also be used to remove discs from your PlayStation 4. To remove a disc from your PlayStation 4, first locate the eject button on the front of the console. Then use the power button to turn off the console. Next, remove any screws that are holding the backplate of your PlayStation 4 together. Once these are removed, you’ll see two plastic tabs on either side of the console. Use these tabs to lift off the backplate of your PlayStation 4. Now that the backplate is off, you’ll see four screws hidden behind it. Remove these screws and then place your disc in front of you so that you can see what’s on top of it. If there are any scratches or dents on your disc, they’ll likely cause problems when trying to remove it from your PlayStation 4. Instead, try using a hairdryer or an oven to heat up enough water so that it starts bubbling and then use a plunger to push and pull until the disc pops out easily.
